Saharawi people mark 44th anniversary of SADR tomorrow

Chahid El Hafed (refugee camps), Feb 26, 2020 (SPS) - The Saharawi people will celebrate tomorrow, Thursday, the proclamation of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), through organizing a range of festivities and celebrations to mark the event.
Saharawi Republic was declared on 27th February 1976, just one day following the withdrawal of the last Spanish soldier from Western Sahara, to act as a government in exile.
SADR is internationally recognized by over 80 countries worldwide.
It is a founding and full pledging member of the African Union (AU), formerly the Organization of African Unity (OAU). (SPS)
