Chahid El Hafed , Feb 07, 2019 (SPS) - The Ministry of the Affairs of the Occupied Territories (OOTT), condemned on Wednesday the tragic death of the young Saharawi Ahmed Salem Uld Ahmed Uld Lemgheimid who died yesterday  because of the serious wounds.
In a statement released, the Ministry said that the Moroccan occupation is trying to annihilate the Sahrawi people with new forms of genocide, stressing  that the deceased found no other way to express his rejection of the repressive occupation policy than to set fire to his body in the passage of Gargaràt in full view of the forces of the occupation gendarmerie and MINURSO.
The communiqué holds the Moroccan State fully responsible for the death of the young man and for all the murders committed during these more than 40 years of occupation and looting, and  calls on the international community to take urgent action to put an end to this human tragedy. SPS
