Submitted on

Bouzakarn (Morocco) December 24, 2018 (SPS) - Sahrawi political prisoner of the Gdeim Izik group, Mohamed Andelah Amebito Tahlil, who is in the local prison of Bouzakarn in southern Morocco, has been subjected to cruel and degrading treatment after the prison administration put him in solitary confinement on December 3rd.
The Association for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners does not rule out that he  was subjected to such harsh punishment with reprisal motives by the prison staff, especially after the racist decision of putting him in solitary confinement for 45 days and depriving him of telephone calls and appropriate medical care.
In the same context, Sahrawi political prisoner of the Gdeim Izik group, Abdelah Ahmed Sidi Abah, who is in Tiflet 2, east of Rabat, lives in a deteriorating health situation as a result of deliberate medical negligence and ill-treatment, noting that the prison administration has confiscated all his belongings such as blankets and clothes.
