Saharawi people struggle title of round table in Balearic Islands

Balearic Islands (Eapaña), Nov 14, 2018 (SPS) -Under the title "current situation of the conflict, commemoration of the dismantling of the Gdeimi Izik Camp" a round table on the situation and struggle of the Saharawi people was organized in the Balearic Islands.
Jira Boulahi, Frente POLISARIO delegate to Spain, has briefed the attendee on the  current situation of the conflict, revival of negotiations with the new special envoy of the Nations United, Horst Köler, the European Court of Justice Judgment and the attempts of the European Union to sign new illegal agreements violate the above-mentionned judgments.
the deputies of the Parliamentary Intergroup "Peace and Freedom for the Sahara" Maria Antònia Sureda and Agustina Vilaret, spoke about their participation in the Special Political and Decolonization Commission (IV Commission) of the United Nations in New York last October to defend the rights of the Saharawi people.
The situation in the occupied areas was addressed by Hassanna Aalia; activist who was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Moroccan military court for his participation in the "camp of Dignity", Gdeim Izik.
Catalina Rosselló, president of the Friends of the Saharawi people association, explained the actions carried out by the solidarity movements  with the Saharawi people and the repeated requests and denunciations so that the international community assumes its responsibility in the decolonization of Western Sahara.
The table was attended by the Director of the Institute for Women, the Director of Cooperation of the Balearic Government, the President of the Intergroup "Peace and Freedom for the Sahara" and friends of the Sahrawi cause. SPS
