Ambassador Saharawi, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, receives ambassador of Cuba

Algiers, Sept 20, 2018 (SPS) - The ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in Algeria, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, receives the ambassador of Cuba, Clara Pulido, to exchange on topics of interest to both parties, with special emphasis on the constant and open cooperation between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Cuba.
The Saharawi diplomat broached his interlocutor on the latest events in the Saharawi struggle at the international level, highlighting the excellent position of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in Latin America and the Caribbean, praising highly the role of the Republic of Cuba and its effort in the areas of health and education in the Saharawi refugee camps
Clara Pulido presented her credentials as a plenipotentiary and extraordinary ambassador on March 8, 2018 in the Bir Lehlu, which made her the first diplomat to carry out said ceremony in the liberated zones of the Saharawi State. Currently, she is accredited to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, the People's Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. SPS
