Saharawi delegation participates in XXXIX Human Rights Council session

Geneva (Switzerland), Sept 12, 2018 (SPS) - A Saharawi delegation composed of human rights activists and victims of Moroccan repression in Western Sahara has took part since yesterday in the work of the XXXIX session of the Human Rights Council.
The Saharawi delegation will present several topics of interest on the violation of human rights in the territory of Western Sahara, particularly, the suffering and systematic repression against the Saharawi population in the occupied territories by Morocco.
For its part, the support group for Western Sahara in Geneva has organized, on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, a conference under the title "Three decades to eradicate colonization; Evaluation and changes in Western Sahara "where the member of the National Secretariat of the Frente  POLISARIO and wali of the Wilaya of El Aaiún, Mr. Mohamed Yeslem Beisat and the ambassadors of East Timor and of Namibia in Switzerland participate in addition to university professors and experts in Law and International Relations.
