Sahrawi Peace ambassadors return from their summer holidays to refugee camps

Madrid, Sept, 05, 2018 (SPS) - Dozens of Saharawi children left Sunday the international airport of Barajas in Madrid, Spain, to the Sahrawi refugee camps after spending two month away from the harsh weather condition that the Sahrawi people suffers during the summer season due to the occupation of their homeland by the Moroccan kingdom according to source from Frente POLISARIO representative in Madrid
Sahrawi Peace ambassadors have undertook various solidarity activities, during their stay among Spanish families in support to the struggle of the Sahrawi people towards its free and fair right to freedom and independence, voicing their support and sympathies with the human rights activists in the Occupied Territories Particularly, the lions of Gdeim Izik group and praising the spirit of resistance of their families in the Sahrawi Refugee
They were received by several parliaments, local authorities and organizations of the Spanish and European civil society
The Vacation Peace Program constituted an important stage to renew the political and humanitarian support to the Saharawi people and to remind the Spanish government of its historical and legal responsibilities towards the Saharawi people.
