Sahrawi political prisoner Mohamed Lamin Abidin Haddi begins hunger strike

Local prison Tevelt 2 (Morocco) Sept 05, 2018 (SPS) - The Sahrawi political prisoner,  Mohamed Lamin Abidin Haddi of Gdeim Izik Group has started an alarming hunger strike for 48 hours to protest against  prison administration, requesting his fundamental rights  as well as the announcement of the files of cassation appeal submitted by him within their legal deadlines.
In a communiqué issued by his family, a copy of which has reached the Association for the Protection of Prisoners,  which report  a series of ongoing harassment by the local prison administration Tevelt 2 and a prevention of his  fundamental rights .
Mohamed Lamin Abidin Haddi , in the same communiqué, has condemned the policy of deliberate obstruction of the prison administration to carry out its previous promises regarding his deportation to a prison close to the family's residence and medical treatment
Mohamed Lamin family has expressed their concern over the critical situation of his son, stressing the legitimacy of his demands, facing this situation; the family bears the full responsibility to the General Administration of Prisons calling for his immediate release and for the rest of the Sahrawi political prisoners.
