President of Republic received by President of Botswana Parliament

Gaborone (Botswana), June 2, 2018 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, and his accompanying delegation were received Friday by the President of Botswana Parliament, Ms Gladys Kokorwe, in the presence of chairpersons and members of the Pan-African Parliament.

The meeting, which was held at the Botswana Parliament, addressed the bilateral relations, the experience of the two legislative bodies, and how to promote relations, as well as Botswana's consistent position in support of the Saharawi people's right to self-determination and independence.

The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, had arrived in Gaborone, on an official visit to the Republic of Botswana, on the third phase of his visit to the south of the continent.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed-Salem Ould Salek, Minister of Cooperation, Bulahi Mohamed-Fadel, Secretary of State for Documentation and Security, Brahim Mohamed-Mahmoud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for Angola and Namibia, Bah Dih Sheikh, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malanin Lakhal, in addition to Soukeina Larbas and Aminatou Sweidat, from Office of the President of the Republic.
