Saharawi delegation visits Saharawi students in Cuban universities

Havana, Jan 25, 2018 (SPS) - A delegation from the Saharawi embassy in Cuba, composed of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the SADR in Cuba, Mohamed Ali Ali Salem and the Cultural Attaché, Abdel Mayid Ahmed Nayi, has visited, during the last two days, the Sahrawi students in the universities in the provinces of Cienfuegos and Villa Clara.
The delegation arrived on Monday at the Central University of Cien Fuegos where, in addition to the students, met with the Director of International Relations and Deputy Deans Magalys Domínguez and  Bárbara Companioni and other authorities and teachers.
In the afternoon of the same day the Sahrawi diplomats met with the authorities of the Medical Sciences University of Cien Fuegos headed by the Rector Doña, Arelys Falcón Hernández and David Cuesta de las Casas Vice rector, later with the students in this university.
On the morning of Tuesday they moved to the Central University of Santa Clara `` Marta Abreu`` to meet, in addition to the students with their authorities of the center headed by Milagros Sarday Valdés and other responsible.
On the same afternoon and in the same city of Santa Clara, the delegation met with the authorities of the university headed by the Vice-Chancellor Enrique Bermúdez Alemán and with the Saharawi students enrolled in this university.
In all these meetings, topics related to academic and cultural cooperation between the Saharawi institutions and their counterparts in Cuba and in particular in the Cuban university centers where Saharawi students in different specialties are discussed. SPS
