5th AU-EU Summit wraps up with the approval of policies related to peace, security and partnership

Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Nov 30, 2017 (SPS) - The Fifth European Union-African Union Summit wrapped up , Thursday,  in the Abidjan, with the approval of several policies related to peace, security and the partnership between both continents
The AU-EU Summit agreed on multiple recommendations, particularly, on the fight against terrorism, the promotion of peace on both continents, as well as investment for sustainable development in Africa and the creation of monitoring mechanisms and the holding of periodic meetings between the two blocs.
African and European leaders agreed that the Sixth Summit will take place in 2020 in a European country.
The Fifth Summit focused on issues related to how to improve investment in youth to achieve sustainable development, as indicated by the theme of the Summit.
The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali attended the Summit accompanied by an important delegation, it should be recalled SPS
