Youth and Students XIX World Festival kicks off with conference under name of Martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz

Sochi (Russia), Oct. 15, 2017 (SPS) The XIX World Youth and Students Festival kicked off on Saturday with conferences bearing the names of the leaders to whom this world event is dedicated, including that of Martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz, symbol of the struggle against colonialism.
The representative of the Polisario Front in Moscow, Ali-Salem Mohamed-Fadel, and the representative of UJSARIO, Omar Hassana, highlighted the journey of Martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz, who for 40 years led the Saharawi struggle against the Moroccan occupation.
The representatives of different delegations were able to discuss the work and trajectory of one of the African leaders who devoted his life to the struggle for freedom and independence of Western Sahara.
The president of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY), Nikolus Papademetriou, declared that the festival will be dedicated to three symbols: Fidel Castro, Ernesto Ché Guevara and Saharawi Martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz. (SPS)
