Maputo (Mozambique), August 30, 2017 (SPS) - The Mozambican Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned the "aggression of the Moroccan delegation against the delegation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) at the TICAD Summit, held in Maputo, Mozambique,
In its statement, the Mozambican Foreign Ministry expressed the dissatisfaction of its government over the attitude of the Moroccan delegation, which "verbally and physically assaulted the SADR delegation at the opening of the Ministerial Summit for the Development of Africa (TICAD) ", Says the ministry, before considering what happened," an irresponsibility and a lack of respect for the rules that govern diplomacy."
The Mozambican government considered that SADR is a full member of the African Union and is obliged to have its place at the summit, like all other members of the Union.
