Havana, February 02, 2017 (SPS) - A Sahrawi Ministerial Delegation led by the Minister of Education, Mr. Mohamed Molud Mohamed Fadel is taking part in the XV Edition of the International Pedagogical Congress 2017 at the invitation of the Minister of Education of the Greater Antilles.
About 40 countries are represented in the event, which until 3 February will be held at the Convention Center.
The present edition will be dedicated to the contribution of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in the educational work of the Cuban Revolution, during the opening ceremony, tribute was paid to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
Among the invited personalities are the Brazilian theologian Frei Betto, the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 Kailash Satyarth and a score of ministers of Education of different nationalities.
The Sahrawi minister is expected to hold talks and meetings with the Minister of Higher Education, José Ramón Saborido. The Minister of Education, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, the president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP), Kenia Serrano Puig in order to exchange experiences in the field of education and to promote relations between Cuba and the Sahrawi Republic.SPS
