SPLA unit based in Elgargarát seized two loaded vehicle with drugs from Morocco (statement)

According to the statement issued, the Ministry of National Defense reported that on Tuesday 20 December that three vehicles had crossed the wall of the military occupation, 20 km east of the Elgargarát area, during its transit through the area one of the two cars lost the wheel, while the second car overturned, this forced the smugglers to use the third car to escape.
The communiqué added that SPLA unit stationed in the Saharawi area of ​​Elgargarát has moved to the scene of the accident, seizing the cargo of the two vehicles consisting of drugs from the Kingdom of Morocco.
The statement said that the Saharawi authorities had immediately informed the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), where their surveillance units patrolled the scene of the accident by land and air, the two cars and seized cargo.
The statement stresses that the incident once again reveals the misinformation of the State of the Moroccan occupation on the fight against drugs, this event demonstrates without a doubt that Morocco is the first producer of this substance worldwide and its traffic promotes the organized crime and terrorist groups.SPS
