Saharawi political prisoner Abduljalak Merji starts alarming hunger strike

Gleimam (southern Morocco), November 11, 2016 (SPS) - Saharawi political prisoner Abduljalak Merji Thursday has started  an open hunger strike, protesting against ill-treatment received by the administration of the prison, reported a Saharawi human right source.
 
According to the same source, the strike comes in protest against his arrest and ill-treatment he received daily by the administration of Bozkarn prison, which (administration) also break into his cell several times and assaulted him physically and confiscated many of his belongings.
 
It should be recalled that Abduljalak was sentenced unfairly for four years prison after his arrest in GleImam - south of Morocco on the ground of his political positions and his human rights activities. SPS
