Spanish aid to Saharawis refugee

Madrid (Spain), Sept 16, 2016 (SPS) - Saharawi refugees living in camps will receive humanitarian aid consisting of 3500 kg of school stationary and medical supply, the first batch of which is to be shipped next Friday from Alicante, Spain, according to Spanish media.
The aid consists in donations from about twelve companies and from groups of the city of Valladolid, according to Spanish newspaper El Norte de Castilla.
The aid is composed of 1500 kg of school stationary and medical equipment, including syringe, blood bags and medicine.
In addition to school stationary, sent to Saharawi school children living in refugee camps, and sports equipment, this aid will be followed by another, estimated at 2000 kg, to be shipped from Madrid to the port of Alicante.
The administration council of the Spanish city of Gijon approved Wednesday an aid of EUR250 000, meant to the execution of various projects in the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), El Comercio newspaper reported.SPS
