Chahid El Hafed (Saharawi refugee camps), September , 01 2016 (SPS) – POLISARIO Front  appealed the  United Nations "to put pressure on Morocco to withdraw its forces from the area of El Guergarat, south of the Saharawi Republic, inviting its mission in the territory to install a point of permanent control in place to avoid any Moroccan incursion in the future, stressing that this dangerous escalation comes in the framework of the policy of the Moroccan regime to provoke tension, every time feeling a progress in resolving the conflict in Western Sahara, "according to a statement released Tuesday.
In this context, the Saharawi coordinator with MINURSO, Emhamed Khaddad, said "This escalation in the El Guergarat and deliberate violation by Morocco of the ceasefire signed with the POLISARIO in 1991, are part of Moroccan maneuvers to hinder the efforts undertaken by the United Nations to resume negotiations on the conflict in Western Sahara ".

Emhamed Khaddad called "members of the Security Council of the UN to prevent Morocco to continue its intransigence and obstruction of diplomatic efforts to find a solution to the conflict, noting that the measures taken by the POLISARIO to answer this Moroccan aggression will continue to comply with its commitments under the ceasefire agreement ".
