Sahrawi unionist buried by Moroccan forces without family's consent

London, August 11, 2016 (SPS)  - The British organization in charge of promoting human rights in Western Sahara "Adala UK" affirmed that Sahrawi unionist Brahim Saika was buried by Moroccan forces without his family's consent, and without explaining the reason of his death, calling for an urgent action from the UN to denounce this "unjustifiable and inhuman act."
Adala UK reported on its website that "Brahim Saika, the young Sahrawi unionist and head of the Coordination of Sahrawi unemployed people, killed in arbitrary detention on 15 April, was buried on 4 August at 7:30 p.m. without his family's consent."
"The family of the Sahrawi young unionist was informed only 15 minutes before his burial, et did not give its consent," according the organization that quoted members of Brahim Saika's family.
Adala UK stated that so far, Moroccan forces refuse to carry out an autopsy to determine the cause of Brahim Saika's death" and even "proposed to the family USD 70,000 to ink the burial agreement without autopsy."
Besides, Brahim Saika was arbitrarily by Moroccan forces on 1 April 2016 and passed away in detention two weeks later. SPS
