Stockholm, June 3, 2016 (SPS) - The Swedish Foreign Ministry has expressed deep condolences on the passing away of President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz.
In a letter to the Polisario Representative in Sweden, Aliyen kentaoui, The Head of Middle East & North Africa Department in the Swedish Foreign Ministry, Ann Dismorr, said “Let me convey my deepest sympathy on the demise of H.E. Mohamed Abdelaziz. H.E. Mohamed Abdelaziz played a monumental role for the Western Saharan people in trying to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Western Sahara. I extend my sincere condolences to you, the family of H.E. Mohamed Abdelaziz, and to the Western Saharan people.” (SPS)
