President of South Africa reaffirms solidarity of his country with the Saharawi people struggle for their self-determination

Johannesburg (South Africa), Dec 19 ,2017 (SPS) - The president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, reaffirmed the solidarity of his country with the Saharawi people in their battle for freedom and self-determination, noting that the incorporation of Morocco into the African Union, is the opening of a new opportunity that will allow addressing the Saharawi question and the search for a solution through the implementation of United Nations resolutions.

The delegation is composed of Mohamed Beissat, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, special envoy of the President of the Republic, accompanied by Hamdi Ahmed Sayed, charge d'affaires at SADR Embassy in Zimbabwe.

The Saharawi delegation is composed of Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, and Bachir Esgheyer, SADR ambassador to South Africa.

Agadir (Morocco), December 17, 2017 (SPS) - The local prison administration of Ait Melloul in the Moroccan city of Agadir carried out on Sunday a humiliating search against Sahrawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik group Bani Mohamed, Sidi Ahmed Lamjid and Mohamed Ambarak Lafkir, as well as messing with their belongings.

Deterioration of health condition of Sahrawi political prisoner Abdelmoula Alhafidi

Loudaya (Marrakech), December 17, 2017 (SPS) - The health situation of Sahrawi political prison Abdelmoula Alhafidi, member of the student group, has deteriorated due to the complications of his unlimited hunger strike to achieve his legitimate demands denied by the administration of Laodaya prison in the south of the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
The effects of the battle of the hunger strike appeared to be evident in his health status, with a weight loss of 8 kg, increased blood pressure and pain at the level of joints.

Minister of National Defense arrives in first military regiment as part of inspection visit

Harare, Dec 15, 2017 (SPS) - Zimbabwean President ,Emmerson Mnangagwa, has reiterated his country's unwavering support and solidarity with the struggle and right of the Saharawi people to independence, emphasizing the promotion and consolidation of relations between Zimbabwe and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
On Wednesday, welcoming the special envoy of Saharawi President Brahim Ghali, member of the Polisario Front National Secretariat, Mohammed Yeslem Baysat, President Mnangagwa affirmed that Zimbabwe and SADR maintain excellent long-standing relations.

Extremadura Assembly (Spain) adopts an institutional declaration supporting for Western Sahara

Mérida (Spain), Dec 13, 2017 (SPS) - The Assembly of Extremadura (Spain), has adopted, unanimously, an institutional declaration of support to the people of  Western Sahara, signed by all the parliamentary groups present in the autonomous chamber.
Extremadura legislators demand the Kingdom of Morocco the immediate release of Saharawi political prisoners, and the cease of violations of human rights in the prisons it controls," went on saying the statement, condemning the continued plundering of the natural resources of Western Sahara.

Bir Lehlu (Liberated territories), Dec 13, 2017 (SPS)- President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Secretary General of Frente POLISARIO Brahim Gali called on the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres to intervene immediately to enforce implementation of UN decisions and recommendations related to Western Sahara.
The Sahrawi president underlined that the UN Security Council's resolution on the status of the buffer zone of Al Guerguerat, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement "has not been implemented yet."

National Council Headquarters, Dec 07, 2017 (SPS) - The Speaker of the National Council, Mr. Khatri Aduh, received on Thursday a delegation of Spanish parliamentarians from the province of Galicia, headed by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Eva Suya.
Khatri Aduh highlighted the experience of the Sahrawi Parliament in the context of a joint liberation movement joining the institutional building with the establishment of the state of law and the liberation battle of the Sahrawi people to complete sovereignty and achieve national independence.
