Ministry of Public Health organizes coordination and consultation meeting

Shaheed El-Hafed, November 18, 2017 (SPS) - The Ministry of Public Health organized, Saturday at its headquarters, a meeting for coordination and consultation in the field of health under, chaired by Minister of Health, Mohammed Lamine Daddi. 
The meeting was attended by Ministers of Cooperation, Bulahi Sayed, Minister of Water resources and Environment, Brahim Mokhtar, the representatives of the supporting organizations in the field of health, UNHCR, WFP, UNICEF, ECHO, and NGO working in the refugee camps.

Sahrawi government conducts inspection tour to Ministry of Information

Shaheed El-Hafed, November 18, 2017 (SPS) - A delegation led by Prime Minister Abdelkader Talab-Omar, accompanied by government  members, conducted Saturday  a tour to the Ministry of Information.
The government delegation met with the Minister of Information, Secretary-General of the Ministry, central directors of the media and journalists. Minister of Information, Hamada Salma, presented a detailed report on then general situation of the Ministry.

Moroccan forces intervene against sit-in of Sahrawi students in Agadir

Agadir (Morocco), November 17, 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan forces intervened on Thursday against a sit-in organized by Saharawi students at Ibn Zohr University in Agadir.
The Moroccan forces besieged on Thursday morning protests organized by the Saharawi students at the Ibn Zohr University, encircled the night encampment organized by students at the faculty of law, and intervened brutally against the students.

M'hamed Khadad affirms to Radio of Algeria “SADR will be at the EU-UA Summit”

Algiers (Algeria), Nov 16, 2017 (SPS) - The Saharawi coordinator with MINURSO, M'hamed Khadad, told Algeria's National Radio that the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) will be present at the EU-UA Summit, which will take place on November 29 and 30 in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.
"The Saharawi Republic is a founding member of the African Union and it is natural that it will be at the Euro-African Summit," Khadad said, expressing his displeasure at Morocco's attempts to pressure European countries to exclude the SADR from the Summit. .

Sahrawi Red Crescent’s head is received by the Swedish Foreign Ministry

Stockholm (Sweden), Nov 15, 2017 (SPS) - The Swedish Foreign Ministry received on Wednesday at its headquarters, the president of the Sahrawi Red Crescent, Buhebaini Yahya, who is visiting Sweden.
Buhebaini Yahya was received by officials from the Department of North Africa and the Department of Conflicts and Humanitarian Affairs. The meeting was attended by the delegate of the Frente  POLISARIO in Sweden, Dr Limam Jalil.

42nd anniversary of the shameful Madrid agreements

Chahid El Hafed, Nov 14, 2017 (SPS) - Today is the 42nd anniversary of the signing of the infamous Madrid Accord, which meant the abandonment of Spain to its historical responsibilities towards the Saharawi people, in breach of its obligation to conclude decolonization of Western Sahara, through the holding of a referendum of self-determination, as settled by the United Nations in 1966.
 

Polisario Front renews support for international efforts aimed at decolonization of Western Sahara

Shaheed El-Hafed (Refugee Camps), November 13, 2017 (SPS) - The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front met on Saturday and Sunday in its 5th and 6th ordinary sessions, chaired by Secretary-General, President of the Republic, Brahim Gali, has renewed its willingness to cooperate with the international efforts aimed at the decolonization of Western Sahara, the last colony in Africa, in accordance with the charter and resolutions of the United Nations and African Union.

Moroccan forces attack Saharawi citizens in occupied El-Aaiun

El-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), November 13, 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan forces, in civil clothes, mobilized Saturday evening hundreds of Moroccan settlers in the streets and alleys of the occupied city of El-Aaiun, after a football match between the Moroccan team and its Ivorian counterpart ended. 
Incited by police, crowds of Moroccan settlers stormed the alleys and streets where Sahrawis live, carrying out barbaric attacks against them and raiding their houses and shops and stealing their properties.
