Algerian Upper House delegation attends anniversary of Saharawi National Council

Algiers, Nov 26, 2017 (SPS) - Algerian Coucil of the Nation (upper house of Parliament) will send a delegation to attend the festivities commemorating the 43rd anniversary of the creation of the National Council of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), to be held Monday at the Saharawi refugee camps in Tindouf.
The Algerian parliamentary delegation will attend the event at the invitation of the head of the Saharawi National Council, Khatri Eddouh, the Upper House said Sunday in a statement.

President congratulates new Zimbabwean President

Bir-Lehlu, 25 Nov 2017 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, sent a congratulatory message to the new Zimbabwean President, Mr. Emerson Mnangagwa.
"On behalf of the Saharawi Government, the Polisario Front and the Saharawi people, I am very pleased to congratulate you on your assumption of the presidency of the Republic of Zimbabwe," said the President of the Republic in his message.

New Zimbabwean president reiterates support to just struggle of Saharawi people

Harare, Nov 25, 2017 (SPS) - The new Zimbabwean president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has reiterated the firm and principled support of his country to the Sahrawi and Palestinian issues, in a speech delivered in Harare after his investiture.
Mr. Mnangagwa said that he would serve his country as the president of all citizens, regardless of color, creed, religion, tribe or political affiliation.
He stressed the importance to move the country forward, calling on everyone to commit to work for the benefit of the country.

President of Republic offers condolences to his Egyptian counterpart

Bir-Lehlu, Nov 25, 2017 (SPS) -  President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has sent a message of condolence to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah Sissi, in the wake of the horrific terrorist attack on Friday at the Rawdha mosque, north of Sinai, resulting in hundreds of innocent deaths and injuries.
The President of the Republic expressed, on behalf of the Government and people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, his sincere condolences and regret for this heinous crime.

UJSARIO attends African Youth Conference in Guinea-Bissau

Brazil Communist Party approves a resolution in support of Saharawi people legitimate struggle

Brazil, Nov 21, 2017 (SPS) - The Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB) approved in its 14th Congress, held from November 17 to 19 in the city of Brasilia, a resolution in support of the legitimate struggle of the Saharawi people.
In this congress, 900 congressmen participated, including former President Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva who attended the closing session.

Shahid El-Hafed, November 20, 2017 (SPS) - Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Salem Ould Salek called on Morocco to respect its internationally recognized borders and deal with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and neighbouring countries in mutual respect.
In a statement published on Sunday, Mohamed Ould Salek welcomed SADR’s participation in the 5th AU-EU Partnership Summit, to be held soon in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), affirming that it is a “strategic victory for the Sahrawi State.”
