Algeria hopes for substantive and fruitful talks between the Polisario and Morocco (Minister)

Algeria-Feb09,2010(SPS) Algeria hopes that the forthcoming talks between the Polisario Front and Morocco, scheduled for 10 and 11 February near New York, will be "substantive and fruitful," declared Monday here Minister of Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.

Saharawi government announces its readiness to cooperate with UN efforts for respecting right of Saharawi people to self-determination

Bir lehlu( liberated territories) Feb09,20109(saps)- the eve of informal negotiation between Polisario Front and Morocco will hold, on Wednesday and Thursday near New York, the government of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR) renewed its will to cooperate constructively with United Nations efforts for solving conflict of western Sahara, remarked Rabat's attempts to Impose preconditions , according to a statement concluded ,Tuesday ,a meeting of council of Ministers.

Resumption of talks between Morocco and Polisario Front

Shahid Alhafed, Feb 8, 2010 (SPS) - Saharawi and Moroccan delegations will hold on Wednesday and Thursday, in Westchester County, north of New York, a second informal meeting under the aegis of the United Nations to prepare for the 5th round of direct negotiations on the future of Western Sahara , non-autonomous territory occupied by Morocco since 1975.

Polisario Front seeks to devote right of Sahrawi people to self-determination through international legitimacy

Algiers, Feb 8, 2010 (SPS) – The aspirations of the Polisario Front, like the whole international community, are to complete the decolonization of Western Sahara through the conduct of the international legitimacy by organizing a referendum of self-determination for the Sahrawi people, the Sahrawi coordinator with UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), Mhamed Khadad, underlined in an interview with Algerian Press Agency (APS).

Nigerian people supports Saharawi people struggle for independence (Deputy)

Abuja (Nigeria), Feb 7, 2010 (SPS) - The President of External Relations Committee of the Nigerian Parliament, Mr. Umar Bature, reaffirmed the support of the Nigerian people to the Saharawi people's struggle for independence and will of the Parliament of his country to boost cooperative relations with the Saharawi National Council, during a reception for the SADR Ambassador, Ubbi Bushraya, at the seat of the Nigerian Parliament.

Seven Sahrawi prisoners of Sale start a hunger strike to demand better conditions

Sale (Rabat), Feb 6, 2009 (SPS) - The seven Saharawi prisoners incarcerated since October in Sale penitentiary (near Rabat) launched Friday a hunger strike for 48 hours to demand improving detention conditions, according to Spanish news agency EFE, quoting a press release of prisoners.

Mohamed Sidati accuses Miguel Moratinos of justifying "erroneously" EU-Morocco fisheries agreement

BRUSSELS (Belgium) Feb06m2010 (SPS)- the Member of SN of Polisario and counselor Minister for Europe Mohamed Sidati accused Friday Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos of justifying "erroneously" the European Union-Morocco Fisheries Agreement. While dubbing "illegal" such an agreement, the minister said that Morocco "practices de facto administration on Western Sahara."
