Madrid,
31/03/2007 (SPS) The Saharawi people and its "unique and legitimate
representative", POLISARIO Front, "categorically reject" the
so-called "Moroccan autonomy plan", which can not be a basis for a
dialogue on the conflict of the Western Sahara been an attempt to
"confiscate the free will" of the Saharawi, affirmed Mr. Brahim
Ghali, POLISARIO Front’s representative to Spain.
"POLISARIO Front is attached to the Saharawi people’s right to
self-determination and independence and we don’t accept any kind of
dialogue or negotiation on a basis that does not provide for the
exercise of self-determination through a referendum", Mr. Ghali
stressed in an interview to the Algerian Press Agency, APS.
"To those who insinuate that the Saharawi people may, in a way or
another, accept the Moroccan proposition that this people has
already rejected this proposition, and is categorically rejecting
it, globally and in its details", the Saharawi representative
emphasised.
The Saharawi official stressed also the responsibility of the
Spanish government in the decolonisation of the Western Sahara,
criticising its attempts to evade the Spanish popular support to the
Saharawi people’s rights to self-determination and independence. (SPS)
