Chahid El Hafed, 26/03/2007(SPS) The Columbian Chamber of
Representatives denied the information Publisher by the Moroccan
Press Agency, MAP, according to which “the Columbian Chamber of
Representatives has, in a motion adopted unanimously last March 13,
expressed its support to the proposition of King Mohamed VI to grant
a wide autonomy to the southern provinces of Morocco”.
“The members and spokespersons of the different political parties
represented in the Colombian Parliament express their denial of the
content of that dispatch”, the Columbian political parties asserted
in a press release of which SPS received a copy last Thursday.
The representatives of the parties represented in the Chamber (the
Law chamber of the parliament) also reiterated their support to the
UN peace plan for the organisation of a referendum on
self-determination for the Saharawi people.
