Bir Lahou, 10/03/2007 (SPS) The Government of the Saharawi
Arab Democratic Republic qualified as "grotesque lies" the
statements propagated on Saturday by the Moroccan Minister of
Justice, M. Bouzoubaa, according to which the Polisario Front has
relations with Al Qaeda, the Saharawi Minister of Information
indicated in a statement to the press the same day.
The Moroccan Minister, quoted by the French Press Service, AFP, has
apparently pretended that there "are now coordination and
cooperation between the Al-Qaeda, especially the Algerian GSPC (Groupe
salafiste pour la prédiction et le combat) and the Moroccan Salafia
Jihadia, which engage common action with the Polisario Front".
POLISARIO Front condemned this new "rush ahead", calling on the
Moroccan government to more responsibility and to "put an end to its
colonial adventure in the Western Sahara conforming to the
international legality" instead of "trying to hide its confusion and
failures via manipulation and incredible manœuvres".
Here is the complete text of the statement of which SPS received a
copy:
Statement of the Saharawi Minister of Information.
The Moroccan regime, put to the hard test by the Saharawi people’s
resistance and the international community’s refusal to support its
occupation of the Western Sahara, resorted anew to the
disinformation by pretending the "the existence" of a "coordination"
between the POLISARIO Front and the Al Qaida.
POLISARIO Front categorically denies the statements of the Moroccan
Minister of Justice on this subject and considers them as grotesque
lies and disgusting manipulation.
POLISARIO Front energetically condemns such pitiful procedures and
calls on the Moroccan regime to put an end to its colonial adventure
in the Western Sahara conforming to the international legality
instead of continuing in its rush ahead and trying to hide its
confusion and failures via manipulation and incredible manœuvres.
