Tifariti (liberated territory), 27/02/2007 (SPS) The Algerian
Minister of Moudjahiddines, Mohamed Cherif Abbas, delivered a
message the President of the Algerian Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika,
to the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Tuesday in
Tifariti on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the proclamation
of the Saharawi Republic.
The audience took place with the presence of Mr. Abdelkader Messahel,
Algerian Minister delegated for Foreign Affairs in charge of Africa
and the Maghreb.
Mr. Messahel indicated in his statement to the press that "we are
here to express the solidarity and support of Algeria to the
Saharawi people in its fair struggle for the exercise of its
inalienable right to self-determination".
He added that "the presence, now in Tifariti, of representatives of
many countries of the world gives proof on the international support
to a right that is recognised by the United Nations as provided for
in the UN doctrine and in the resolution 1514 of December 1960 on
the Declaration on the independence of the colonial peoples and
