forces of repression against demonstrators who were peacefully
claiming the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and
independence", expressing its solidarity with the Saharawi citizens
in the Moroccan rural village with a Saharawi majority, the NGO

It further called on the UN "to exercise pressures on Morocco to put
an end to the flagrant human rights violations in the Western Sahara
and enlarge the prerogatives of the UN’s Mission for a Referendum in
the Western Sahara (MINURSO) to include the protection of the human
rights in the occupied Saharawi territories".
CODAPSO finally demanded the "immediate and unconditional release"
