The new President of Ecuador offers a luncheon on the honour of
the President of the Republic |
Quito, 15/01/2007 (SPS) The President of the Republic,
Mohamed Abdelaziz, was invited for a lunch offered by the new
President of the Republic of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, on the honour
of the special guests who attended the ceremony of his investiture.
The Saharawi President started a visit to Latino America since
January the 9th, which led him before Ecuador to Nicaragua where he
attended the ceremony of investiture of its new President, Daniel
Ortega.
One day after, Nicaragua signed a joint communiqué to re-establish
diplomatic relations with the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.
The ceremony of the investiture was attended by the President of
Peru, Alan García, of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, Brazil, Luiz Inacio
Lula da Silva, Chile, Michelle Bachelet, Paraguay, Nicanor Duarte
Frutos, Bolivia, Evo Morales, Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadi Neyad, Price of
Asturias, Felipe de Borobón, President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega,
Deputy-President of Uruguay, Rodolfo Nin Novoa, Deputy-President of
Costa Rica, Kevin Casas Zamora, Deputy-President of Cuba, Carlos
Lage, President of Haïti, René Preval, Deputy-President of
Argentina, Daniel Oswaldo Scioli, Deputy-President of Panama, Samuel
