The Ministry for Foreign Affairs Annual Conference opened its works
on Thursday at the "Naaja Ali Brahim" Centre under the presidency of
the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, and
with the presence of the Saharawi ambassadors and representatives in
the different countries who have diplomatic relations with the
Saharawi Republic and the POLISARIO Front.
Mr. Ould Salek stressed on, "the large audience of the Saharawi
cause around the world and the universal consecration of the
Saharawi people’s legitimate right to self-determination and
independence, which was illustrated lately through the UN General
Assembly’s resolution".
The Head of the Saharawi diplomacy also noted the efforts paid by
the Saharawi diplomacy, which focussed mainly on "the lifting of the
military and Medias blockage imposed on the occupied territories of
the Western Sahara by the Moroccan colonialism since 1975". (SPS)
