Chahid El Hafed,
11/12/2006 (SPS) Mr. M'Barek Lehdeib was designated as the Head of
the Saharawi Consultative Council (CCS), Sunday by a Presidential
Decree, in replacement to the late Annat Ali Menna, who recently
passed away.

Mr. Ould
Hdeib, who was the Deputy-President of the CCS will be assisted by Mr.
Mohamed Ali Ould Sidi El Bachir, while a new member of the Council, Sidha
Ahmed Ghardou, will complete the number of the five permanent members of the
Saharawi Parliament.
Mr.
Moulaye Beibatt, will substitute Mr. Ould Ahmed Ghardou, as a member of the
permanent Bureau of the CCS, the same Decree added.
The
ceremony of the investiture of the new President of the CCS was attended by
the President of the Saharawi Parliament, Mr. Mahfoudh Ali Beiba, the Prime
Minister, Abdelkader Taleb Oumar, the Member of the National Secretariat in
Charge for Political Orientation, Mr. Khatri Addouh, as well as many members
of the Saharawi Government, Parliament and members of the Bureau of the CCS.
