Sahrawi women call for a military action to reach self determination

The participants of the Western Sahara 13th Assembly have insisted on the necessity to catch up the past achievements raising concern over the stagnation of the self determination process because of the impediments encountered during the rounds of negotiations with Morocco.
    
    Sources from the conference have revealed to Echourouk that the military option is no longer limited to men since many Sahrawi women have called for resuming to armed action.
    
    They have asserted that the achievements that have been reached over 15 years of military action in a combat that spanned 36 years are doomed to vanish in the forthcoming years.
    
    Although the Western Sahara leadership has pledged to carry on the negotiations, the political prisoners who started a huger strike since 36 days have sent a letter to the participants expressing their total support to Western Sahara women.
    
    For their part, the participants consider the decision to imply 50 members from the colonized towns and southern Morocco for the first time as a breakthrough in the Sahrawi cause.
