delegation of RFK Center concludes visit to Sahrawi refugee camps

Shaheed Elhafed (refugee camp), Aug 30, 2012 (SPS) - President of Robert-Kennedy Centre for Justice and Human Rights Kerry Kennedy concluded Wednesday evening her visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps, where she inquired about living conditions in these camps and assessed human rights’ situation after her stay in El Ayun (the occupied capital of Western Sahara).

NAM reiterates support to right of Saharawi people to determination

Tehran, Aug 30, 2012 (SPS) - The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) reiterated Wednesday in Tehran, its support to struggle of the Saharawi people for their right to self-determination.
 
In a statement issued after a meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers, NAM devoted several paragraphs to the just cause of the Saharawi people, confirming previous resolutions and support for the implementation of United Nations resolutions on the Western Sahara conflict.
 

President of Republic receives delegation of RFK Center

Shaheed Elhafed (refugee camp), Aug 30, 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz has received Wednesday night the President of R F Kennedy Center of Justice and Human rights, Kerry Kennedy and her accompanying delegation which paid 24 hour visit to the Saharawi refugee camps.
 
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Presidency attended by Prime Minister Members of the National Secretariat of Polisario Front and members of the government.

France urged to recognize Saharawi people’s right to self-determination

Paris (France) August29,2012(SPS) - French politicians and human rights activists from the Association of the Friends of SADR (Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic) called Wednesday the highest authorities in Paris to recognize Saharawi people’s "inalienable" right to self-determination.
 

Delegation of Robert Kennedy Center arrives in Sahrawi refugee camps

Shahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), August 29, 2012 (SPS) The Delegation of the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights arrived on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in  the Sahrawi refugee camps for a one day visit to assess the situation of Sahrawi refugees forced to flee from their homeland since 1975 because of Moroccan military invasion to Western Sahara.  
 

Council of Ministers condemns Moroccan violation of human rights

A brush with Morocco's secret police in Laayoune, says Kerry Kennedy

El Aaiun (occupied territories), August 28, 2012 (SPS) -the President of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights (RFK Center), Ms. Kerry Kennedy, affirmed  a brush between the international human rights delegation and Morocco's secret police took place in the occupied city of Alauin during the visit of the delegation she lead to occupied Western Sahara.
